ABOUT US
Echo Lake Pilots Association is a non-profit organization consisting of friendly pilots and friends who own property in the beautiful Echo Lake community. Echo Lake is a 500 acre gated subdivision located between Athens TX and Tyler TX.

Our mission is to promote aviation interest in our community. We maintain the airstrip and participate in various events from an informal "Happy Hour" to hosting local EAA meetings.
Our community is a unique gem in beautiful East Texas. There are around 80 lots all of which are waterfront. Other ammenities include excellent Black Bass fishing, a shooting range, a community pavillion and a Horse barn and pasture.
The airport has a 2600' x 40' hard surface runway and there are about 12 aircraft based here. The setting is beautiful and quiet and we love it here!
